Wi-Fi Solutions in San Diego
Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E deployments with predictive site surveys and post-install validation.
What Are Commercial Wi-Fi Solutions?
Reliable Wi-Fi requires more than just plugging in access points. We start with a predictive or on-site RF survey, design AP placement for full coverage and roaming, deploy enterprise-grade Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E hardware, and validate the install with a heatmap test. The result is consistent connectivity with zero dead zones.
Most businesses call about Wi-Fi when it fails in the places that matter: the conference room drops calls, the back office has dead zones, or the warehouse scanners lose connection between racks. Adding staff, opening a guest network or moving into a new space are other common triggers. A good wireless install is designed for capacity, not just coverage. Access points are ceiling-mounted where a survey shows they belong, wired back to PoE switches, configured with sensible channel and power plans, and verified with a post-install heatmap.
TBT surveys your space, designs AP placement and channel plans, installs and configures the access points and controller, and validates coverage and performance with heatmaps before handover. You get the survey results, AP map and network settings documented, plus support when layouts or usage change. Our Wi-Fi 6 explainer covers what newer standards change, and every access point depends on solid structured cabling. Request a free on-site assessment to map your coverage.

Why Invest in Professional Wi-Fi Solutions?
Coverage where people work
AP placement based on a site survey reduces dead zones and weak spots in offices, warehouses and outdoor areas.
Capacity for busy rooms
Designing for device density keeps conference rooms and open offices usable when everyone is connected.
Separate guest access
Guest networks are isolated from business systems, protecting internal devices and data.
Proof of performance
Post-install heatmaps document signal and coverage so you know the design delivered.
How We Deliver Wi-Fi Solutions
- 01
Site survey
We assess building materials, layout, interference and device counts, using predictive modeling and on-site measurements.
- 02
AP and channel design
We plan access point locations, mounting, channels, power levels and SSIDs for both coverage and capacity.
- 03
Install and configure
Technicians run cabling, mount APs, and configure the controller, VLANs, guest network and security settings.
- 04
Heatmap validation
We walk the space after install to measure real coverage and adjust APs or settings where needed, then document results.
- 05
Ongoing tuning and support
TBT supports firmware updates, new APs and re-tuning as furniture, walls or usage change.

What Affects the Cost of Wi-Fi Solutions?
Every site is different, so we quote after a free on-site assessment. These are the main factors that shape the price.
- Square footage, number of floors and building materials such as concrete or metal racking
- Number of users and devices, which drives AP count
- Wi-Fi standard and AP model (Wi-Fi 6 vs 6E, indoor vs outdoor)
- Cloud management or controller licensing model
- New cabling and PoE switch capacity for each access point
- Level of survey and validation required (predictive, on-site, post-install)
Wi-Fi Solutions: Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you start a project in San Diego?
We schedule projects promptly after the free on-site assessment, and we work to accommodate urgent installations whenever possible.
Are your technicians trained on the systems they install?
Every technician is factory-trained on the systems we install. We install to industry standards and provide documentation upon completion.
Do you sign NDAs for sensitive facilities?
Absolutely. We routinely work in healthcare, legal, government, and military environments where confidentiality is required.
Do you provide ongoing support after installation?
Yes. We offer maintenance plans and on-call support so you have a single point of contact for the life of the system.
Will you work alongside our existing IT vendor?
Yes. We coordinate with your in-house IT team or MSP to ensure clean handoff, documentation, and integration with existing systems.
Why is our office Wi-Fi slow even with full signal bars?
Full bars show signal strength, not capacity. Slow Wi-Fi with strong signal is often caused by too many devices on one access point, channel interference from neighbors, or a weak internet or wired connection behind the AP. A survey identifies which one is the problem.
What is a Wi-Fi site survey?
A Wi-Fi site survey measures and models how wireless signals behave in your building so access points can be placed correctly. It accounts for walls, materials, interference and the number of devices, and is typically followed by a validation survey after installation.
What is the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E?
Wi-Fi 6E adds access to the 6 GHz band on top of the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands used by Wi-Fi 6. The extra spectrum reduces congestion, but only devices that support 6E can use it, so the benefit depends on your device mix.
Should guest Wi-Fi be separate from our business network?
Yes. Guest Wi-Fi should run on its own network segment so visitors can reach the internet but not your computers, printers, cameras or servers. Bandwidth limits can also keep guests from slowing business traffic.
Is mesh Wi-Fi good enough for a business?
Usually not as a primary design. Consumer mesh systems relay signals wirelessly between nodes, which reduces throughput, while business access points wired back to a switch deliver more consistent performance and central management. Wireless mesh can still fill spots where cabling isn’t practical.
